I know we have all heard it before, live everyday like it is your last. You never now what is in store for you day to day. I had the pleasure of meeting a young man, Zac yesterday at Blanks Children Hospital. Zac, has leukemia. He is a tough, brave kid who is a wrestler. He has won numerous tournaments, and even pinned an opponent at the state tournament last year. Zac will not be able to wrestle for at least 3 years due to treatment schedule. Zac has inspired me to wake up everyday and be thankful for my life, the good, bad and ugly. I am thankful for healthy kids, a great family, and a job! I enjoy the sun coming up and the simple pleasures of life. I wish i would have been able to do this a long time ago, but when i was competing, and coaching, that was all i thought about, being the best in the world. I could not enjoy to much. Now i find time to step back and be thankful for eveything in life. No matter what life throws at you, embrace it, deal with it, and enjoy it! Thanks Zac for the inspiration, i will always look up to you. Keep up the fight!
